So here's the dealio:

I'm writing a book, blah blah blah, nothing new. In recent news, I'm halfway done, and I'm going to start chapter 11 out of 18 (19 maybe) soon. But, that besides the point.

I need someone to read the first chapter for me. I've showed it to two different people at school. Here's how both went:

1) the first person to read the newest edition of the first chapter absolutely loved it. They said that they like the idea of the story, that they really were dying to read the second chapter, and even that they thought that it should be a movie just based off of the first chapter. This is probably my most positive response.

2) the second person to read the newest edition of the first chapter disliked everything about it. I got feedback on my structure, my paragraphs, even my writing style. It seems that every single scrap of writing in that was critiqued on. Yeah, it sucked a bit, but I got some useful things to look at I guess.

It goes to show that for every ten on the satisfaction scale, there needs to be some zeros. Both comments helped in their own ways, but they're both so different that I don't know what to change and what not to. The only problem is that I have so majority rule: one says it was awesome, one says it sucked. Therefore, I need someone to read it, someone who is NOT afraid of giving feedback honestly, so that the scale can tip a bit.

If more than one person asks, than I'll give the job to whoever I think will be more honest with me. If only one person is interested, congrats, you'll go into consideration.

If NO ONE wants to read it (a high possibility) I'll have to rely on what to do myself.
